My notebook's request this morning.
When people (family and friends) not in the design business ask, "What's Blog Tour?" It's hard to pin down a really simple answer sever come to mind:
- A Tour of London with some brilliant design minds
- An excuse to Drink too much Beer
- A chance to visit some amazing showrooms and expositions
- A chance to see things I've never seen and get an across the pond experience of the design world.
More than anything I'm looking at BlogTour as a chance to learn. I'll be touring one of the planet's greatest cities getting to explore the showrooms and minds of some amazing design brands and meet some terrific people.
Then of course there are the folks I'll be touring the city with...the amazing Modenus team and my fellow BlogTour cohorts. (We need some sort of short name for people on BlogTour) I'd love an excuse to be in one room with these folks let alone touring a city.
So more than anything there's only one thing I'm deeply hoping to get out of BlogTour. I hope I learn. I try to take every experience as a chance to learn about myself as a designer but just as importantly, about other designers - what they do and how they do it.

During the tour I'm going to try to stick to my once a day post schedule here, we'll see if that's possible.
